Chris Pankey grew up in Albertville, Alabama.  After graduating from Albertville High School in 1987, he received his undergraduate degree from the University of South Alabama in 1991.

After working for several years, including over a year as a reporter for The Sand Mountain Reporter, Chris enrolled at the University of Alabama School of Law in 1995.  With a little extra effort, he was able to graduate in the top half of his class in December 1997, a semester earlier than most of his classmates.  He was admitted to the Alabama State Bar on May 1, 1998.

Chris has extensive experience in many areas of the law.  While much of his experience is in the areas of personal injury and criminal defense, his broad background includes probate law, business law, contract law, family law, and general civil litigation.  He has successfully litigated many cases, including bench and jury trials, and also successfully appealed cases in the Alabama Court of Civil Appeals, the Alabama Court of Criminal Appeals, and the Alabama Supreme Court.

Chris fully understands criminal law from both sides, having served as a municipal prosecutor for almost four years early in his career.  This well-rounded understanding allows him to achieve excellent results for his clients.

Having worked for a couple of well-known, high-volume personal injury firms in the past, Chris has the knowledge and experience to help personal injury clients receive excellent compensation for their injuries.  He has helped hundreds of clients recover millions of dollars.
